The airport at New York JFK provides both short term and long-term parking facilities.

Short-term Parking

Also known as Central Terminal Area (CTA) parking, this is ideal for picking up or dropping off passengers. The car parks are located close to the terminals making it a short walk to get there. Bear in mind though that this is one of the busiest airports in the world, so car parking spaces can often be hard to find, especially in the car parks for the most popular terminals. It can sometimes be easier to use the parking facility for a less busy terminal and then get one of the free shuttle buses to access the correct terminal.

Long-term Parking

Based approximately 4 miles from the main terminal area the long-term parking area is linked to the airport by the AirTrain, accessible via Howard Beach Station. It runs very frequently (approx every 6 minutes during the day and every 12 minutes during the night) so there is never long to wait.

Disabled Parking Facilities

All of the short term parking areas provide spaces for those with disabilities, located close to the main terminal entrances and also at a reduced rate.
